Christi is hands down the rock star of organizing a Disney trip. As a former Disney naysayer, I can tell you that she made my first trip easy, fun and magical! She has that rare combination of attention to every last detail without being rigid. That’s not easy to achieve! I recently took a trip with my son to Disney, and Christi was our travel agent. She made recommendations based on my son’s age and my bandwidth for parks, and she did a great job pulling it all together. We stayed at the animal kingdom lodge, and it couldn’t have been more appropriate for us. We had elected not to pay the additional fees for the savannah room, but when we arrived, we were upgraded, and I have a feeling that it was because Christi let them know what a special trip it would be for us. Each morning, my son would wake up and run to the window and greet the zebras that were just outside!! I’m not much of a planner, and was really pleased to have Christi’s help through the process. I had probably messaged 2-3 other travel agents prior to finding Christi Hughes. I didn’t get a comforting/informative response from either of the other travel agents. BUT when I messaged Christi her response to me let me know she was the perfect person to plan our Disney trip! She was so thorough with everything and very detail oriented. I was highly impressed with the emails she sent me. There was 7 of us in our party (5 kids and 2 adults!). She made sure to accommodate all! She woke up early to book the best fast passes for us AND she made restaurant reservations, which made our experience even better! She went above and beyond! Christi Hughes was simply amazing from the start of our trip planning through the duration of our Disney stay! She shared a wealth of helpful information that made our decision making so much easier as she immediately understood the experience we wanted to provide to our family! This is a review for the similarly situated grandparents, neither prolific nor passionate about using smartphone apps, who are considering spending a fortune taking family members on a Disney vacation. After having worked with Christi Hughes for our 12.18.22 trip, we would never consider a Disney vacation without her. Our recommendation is that when you work with her, contact her early about your trip. She is very responsive and fun to work with. She helped us pick the best resort and ticket options. She walked us through the now-required Disney app and the new (to us) on-line strategies for booking rides. She guided us in the selection of restaurants for special meals, and then she awoke early two months before our trip to make sure the restaurant reservations were booked. She showed us how to order to-go meals at each park. She provided us with detailed itineraries for each day we were at the park to make sure we got on all the rides we wanted with minimum wait times. And then, unbelievably, once we were at the park, she continued to make reservations for us for the very busy Guardians of the Galaxy ride, and she continued to check in with us via text to make sure everything was going smoothly.
